Description
A clear fused glass snowflake decoration with rainbow coloured tips, for hanging on a Christmas tree or decorative twigs as part of your festive home decorations.
The decoration is approximately 8cm in diameter. It is hung using fine invisible thread so the decorations appear to be floating when hung on a tree or twigs.
The snowflake is made from 18 hand cut pieces of glass which are then laid out to form a snowflake design in the kiln. Coloured glass granules called ‘frits’ are added to the end of the tip of each arm of the snowflake in a rainbow formation before being fired to produce a smooth, sparkly, colourful snowflake.
Glass makes beautiful hanging decorations as they catch either the natural light, or pick up fairy lights to really twinkle.
To make them fun to unwrap each year, and to keep them safe each snowflake is wrapped in tissue and presented in a drawstring linen bag with a snowflake design.
All our fused glass in made in our home studios, hand cut and finished and fired in our kilns.
