This collection is made using a technique called frit casting.  I draw the shape digitally and then cut a mould into fibre paper.  I then fill the mould with glass granules called frit and fire in the kiln.  Any bumps or imperfections are then filed down and the glass is fired for a second time called a ‘fire polish’ to make it really shiny!
