Bring the vibrant beauty of a flowering garden border into your home with this handcrafted lilac and green fused glass suncatcher from the Wisley series. Suspended inside a deep white shadow-box frame, the floating glass disc captures shifting natural daylight throughout the day, casting soft, colourful reflections across your space.
Handcrafted Kiln formed Glass
Every glass disc is created in my studio by layering carefully selected shades of art glass before firing them in the kiln. As the kiln reaches high temperatures, the glass melts and flows together naturally to form intricate, organic strands of colour. Because of the multi-layer firing process, no two pieces ever melt in the exact same way—giving you a genuinely unique work of contemporary glass art.
Easy Home Styling & Display
Unlike traditional window suncatchers that rely on suction cups or wall hooks, this piece is designed inside a freestanding 6×6 inch frame. It sits flat and secure on any surface, making it an easy addition to:
-
Deep windowsills where sunlight can stream directly through the glass
-
Living room mantelpieces and display shelves
-
Home office desks and bookcases needing a splash of vibrant colour
A Thoughtful Handmade Gift
Whether you are looking for a unique housewarming gift, a birthday present for an art lover, or a special touch of garden decor for your own home, this fused glass piece comes beautifully presented. Each framed suncatcher arrives securely packaged in a sturdy gift box, making it easy to wrap and send.
